When buying your sofa we recommend you check the quality by asking what type of wood the frame is constructed out of and lift the sofa by the side frame and back frame to determine if there are any wobbles or twists, we recommend you also check the weight of the sofa, high quality sofa frames are heavy and normally require two persons to lift. These handy tips can help you justify spending the money on a quality sofa versus a cheap sofa.  

How much importance should you place on cushion filling?

The cushions on your sofa determine the final comfort you require from relatively firm to the ultimate comfort of down. High density foam cushions will keep their shape retention and require less plumping.
