The mood board of October
This article will explore how you can effectively fuse classic and contemporary, perfect for those who appreciate the timeless beauty of classical design but also want to incorporate modern elements. We will focus on how to combine classic and contemporary style.
You don’t need ornate architecture to embrace this style. In the next sections, we’ll explain how to design neoclassical spaces using sustainable solutions paired with modern furniture and fittings.
Sofa & Armchair
We chose Rego sofa in mustard velvet, which combines modern and classic elements beautifully. The curved arms bring a contemporary feel, while the luxurious velvet adds a timeless, classic touch. This sofa can also be customized with a variety of fabric options, different-sized seats, and alternative frame finishes to suit your space perfectly.
Kaori armchair combines the charm of classic design with a luxurious blend of leather and velvet. Its contemporary shape gives it a modern edge. This unique piece works beautifully in both modern and neoclassical settings. Plus, the fabrics and colors can be customized to match your space perfectly!
Panels & Coffee Tables
We use sustainable moldings for wall and ceiling design, which not only add a decorative touch to living spaces but also help hide cables, making the space look tidier. Wall panels enhance proportions and balance, making it easier to align furniture placements and hang artworks or mirrors. In addition to floral patterns, oval shapes work beautifully with the curved arms of contemporary furniture. These materials are easy to install, paint, and affordable. Plus, they can be removed and reinstalled in a new location if you move!
Stone and wood are timeless materials in interior design. For this mood board, we chose the Ernest coffee tables. It can be customized in various sizes, heights, and finishes, including wood, stone, or even vibrant lacquer colors!
Rug & Footstool
The Paito rug features dark tones that align with the classic feel of rich velvets. However, its amorphous shape adds a modern twist to the space. The color combination on the rug creates a visual flow, drawing the eye and enhancing the overall dynamic of the room.
We use footstools for added comfort, which can also serve as extra seating. The Play footstool features woven leather that reminds of classic styles, while its cube shape offers a modern touch. Similarly, the Play pouf is available in various leathers and fabrics. If you choose a fabric, it’s removable and easy to clean.
