Originally founded in 1899 by Max Marx and Ernst Rohde, ZR produce luxurious and exceptional fabrics. Andreas Zimmer believes that if a fabric touches the right note in the soul it can become part of our emotions, even part of our very life. In places where textiles are not mass-produced, people have an innate natural and sensuous disposition to tissues and cloths. In market places the materials are touched and stroked, held to the face and arms before they change owner and become a part of someone else´s life.
