The Sir John Lavery Room
On entering there is a distinct air of grandeur in the Sir John Lavery
room, created to striking effect as the room harnesses it’s
distinctive Georgian features, and compliments them with sumptuous
drapes, gold embellished wall-coverings and luxurious bespoke sofas,
each bedecked with an adornment of cushions. A delicately hand carved
mirror gilded in 16th century gold commands it’s place above
the original marble fireplace, adding depth and subtle highlights
to the space. Bordeaux hued curtains, made of sumptuous gold embellished
velvet and gathered into uniquely designed tiebacks, generously spill
onto the plush carpet, creating an exquisite window dressing.
