| The Italian families of Torrani and
Jelmini began a textile business in 1921. When Rosita Jelmini
married the athlete Ottavio Missoni in 1953, they developed
a new concept in knitwear and became known as the masters of
colour on the prêt-à-porter scene. They are now
established as a pioneer of lifestyle concept: total style for
the home. Rosita Missoni interprets the concept of one of Beaufort’s
latest exclusive partners, Missoni Home, as “geometry
and spontaneity, bright hues and subtle shading, micro and macro
combined in an apparent chaos that expresses the harmony of
diversity and the home as an eternal playground”. |
