BEAUFORT announces Soft Furnishings contract with new SAGA Cruise Ship for completion in Summer 2019.
Soft Furnishings company Beaufort Interiors Ltd, who have showrooms in Northern Ireland and London have been selected for the manufacturing of soft furnishings for Saga Cruises, a British cruise ship company.
BEAUFORT is renowned for its design and manufacturing of luxury soft furnishings for commercial projects and residential interiors across Europe. The design company is located in London’s prime design district, The Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour - and has office and manufacturing headquarters in Moira, Northern Ireland.
In January 2019, Saga Cruises awarded Beaufort the supply and manufacturing of approximately 3000 cushions and throws for their new Cruise Ship “Spirit of Discovery”, comprising of 540 all-balcony cabins and suites. The project is planned for completion in Summer 2019 – all with a fresh and contemporary twist on the traditions of classic Saga Cruise ship interiors.
Beaufort used 73 different designer fabrics to create luxury cushions which have been designed by London based SMC Design, who have been providing integrated design solutions to Global Cruise liner client for the past 25 years.
The fabrics express luxury & modern design throughout each space. All of which have been manufactured by Beaufort’s team in Northern Ireland. Alongside other commercial contracts recently awarded, this project has increased opportunities for the Beaufort manufacturing team with 5 new staff members already hired by the design company.
