Deborah says:

"Having studied Textile Design at university, I really appreciate the beauty and workmanship of this fabric, and my personal taste reflects an eclectic interior with a mix of pattern and texture, which is exactly what the Colefax & Fowler recent collections aesthetic is.

These fabrics lend themselves to both traditional and contemporary homes by reviving classic patterns such as the paisley influence shown on “Carsina” in modern colour-ways.

The embroidery and corded outline on the shapes give it a 3-dimensional feel, while the vibrant variety of colours such as tomato and baby pink provide endless possibilities for planning out the rest of the room.

The trimming and tiebacks pair perfectly by highlighting the orange and turquoise and add a lot more interest to the curtains."

Window-Dressing Design

For these curtains we have hand-pleated a tall pinch heading and edged the top with a fine cord from the Theodore collection. We have bordered the leading edges with a wide band of textured plain, mitred the bottom corner and added a bobble trim in between.

As is our standard practice, we have used a heavyweight twill interlining to give the desired drape, and attached our branded cotton-sateen lining.
